To be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; to walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; to be strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
A servant of the Lord, yielded as a weapon in my Master's skillful hands, here to sharpen other weapons as He sees fit and defend the honour of the crown.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.
Believing so deeply in something that wasn't meant to be is truly devastating. What do you do when the miracle you've prayed for doesn't happen?
Revisiting the heart problem of man that Jesus paid for with a grueling, torturous, and bloody death on the cross of Calvary.
The Christian way of life is marked trials and deliverance, guided always by the sovereign hand of God.
A familiar reminder of the battles we face and to whom they belong.

If there was only one thing I could tell you, it would be this...
To all who wander here,
There is just one thing I want you to know: I care about you very much (trust me, it's not always been this way for me). And when I think of the fact that "who you are is irreplaceable; it's a great big world, yeah, but don’t you know, on this third rock from the sun, there's only one crazy beautiful you" (Crazy Beautiful You, L. Crawford), it kills me to think that once you’re gone, that's it:
...there will never be another you.
And so I humbly ask you to consider the price that Christ Jesus paid for your sins. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
Jesus considers you, for whom he laid down his life, to be his friend. And all it takes is for you to believe that he died for you, was buried, and was in fact raised from the dead the third day to take away your sins. If you believe that, then simply repent (turn away from your sins) and pray, asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart and save your soul:
I know that I am a sinner, but I know that you are the Saviour who died for me and rose again from the dead to take my sins away.
I now ask you to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and save my soul.
From this moment on, I choose to follow you as my Saviour and Lord; as my God and Friend.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
This way, if anything happens to me or you, we can rest and be at peace knowing that we will get to see each other again in Heaven one day, ere our paths meet again.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
